The awards are supported by the 118ͼ¿â and partner organisations helping us fund and develop new research and are open to 118ͼ¿â members. (Excludes BSc and Masters Students)
This award aims to recognise and reward the achievements of an individual whose work has made significant contributions to translational (Laboratory - clinic) cancer research.
The award consists of a prize of £1,000.
To recognise the achievement of our brilliant Early Career Cancer Researchers, 118ͼ¿â has introduced this brand-new award, which will be handed out for the first time in 2025. The award will go to a 118ͼ¿â member who at an early stage has demonstrated a significant contribution to cancer research and who is has ambition to develop their career in this area.
This award is open to all 118ͼ¿â student members registered for a PhD and who have been a 118ͼ¿â member for at least one year. The award winner will be a well-rounded PhD student who can demonstrate success in citizenship in addition to research achievements.
The award consists of a prize of £250
This award recognises and encourages the talents of more junior cancer researchers.
