Purpose

To recognise and reward the achievements of an individual whose work has made significant contributions to translational (laboratory-clinic) cancer research.

Value

A prize of £1,000.

Eligibility

The award applicant must have a PhD (up to 15 years post-PhD, allowing for career breaks) at the time of application. If in any doubt concerning eligibility, don't hesitate to get in touch with Janet Alexander at the 118ͼ¿â Secretariat for assistance. In addition, applicants must submit in one PDF document a completed 118ͼ¿â/AstraZeneca Award Application form; List of Publications; Summary of accomplishments in cancer research; reprints of the three most notable publications, and a letter of support from their Supervisor/Line Manager.   Applicants must be a 118ͼ¿â member (membership application may accompany the Award application).
